"This was our third time aboard the Carolina Girls fishing off the beautiful west coast, out of Prince Rupert. Black tide adventures is awesome at what they do, from the thorough job booking and planning of the trip to ensuring a great time is had by all on the water. John is a very knowledgeable guide and knows the waters and the fishing spots for all species of fish. Prior to departure Michelle meets with the group to answer any last minute questions the group may have and provides times to meet on the first day. We have fished out of Rupert for the past 7 years and fishing with Blacktide adventures has been the best experience so far. John changes things up and try’s new spots if the bite is not on and has often stayed longer on the water to ensure you come home with fish. The fish is professionally cleaned and bagged at the end of each day and Rupert’s meats is the place to go for packaging fish for transport. The boat (Carolina Girls) is a very nice Grady white which handles the waters off the coast very well, it is very clean, comfortable and has the best fishing deck hands down, lots of room to play out the big fish. John and Michelle both give it 110% to ensure their clients have an enjoyable fishing charter." Ryan, Chris and Nicole Aasen
“We highly recommend Black Tide Adventures. Making arrangements was easy & thorough. They were on time & wasted no time getting the 3 of us to the good fishing spots that John was very knowledgeable about. He showed us how to catch & bring in the fish & kept a better eye on our lines than we did. He baited the hooks for us & made sure the bait was still on there. He kept the boat very clean & ensured the best catch possible while keeping us safe. He cleaned the fish for us and made sure we knew what to do with it. He followed all the regulations as well. We are planning to go back.” Ben, Judy & Kyle Pszyk
“We had a fantastic day on the water with Black Tide adventures. The boat was extremely comfortable in some decent swells and had all the best gear. John was a lot of fun but also very professional. He took us to heaps of good spots and had all the tricks to get the fish in the boat. Michelle was very responsive in answering all the questions we had ahead of the trip, and was there waiting on the dock when we returned to help us with getting our fish packaged for transit setup well hey are a very professional outfit” Zoe Rolls
"Fantastic boat. Not affraid to burn some fuel to get to the fishing spots. Was well prepared with all the fishing gear and didn't take long to get into fish once there. Excellent trip all around." Brent Hope
“A trip of a life time!! Comfortable for my young kids and excellent hosts!! We managed to hook lots of big fish and make memories for years to come thank you so much John and Michelle a trip we will never forget :)” Ryan Corliss
“The best guide in Prince Rupert.
John is a well versed fishing guide that operates a very safe and reliable fishing boat. I have fished with them and would recommend John as the only guide for Salmon and Halbut fishing out of Rupert!!.” Darko Blagogevic
“If you're looking for a fantastic fishing trip, whale watching opportunity. With a fantastic captain that would get you onto the fish Black Tide adventure is the way to go with John and Michelle. We had a three day fishing trip at Prince Rupert and we got our halibut and our salmon just a fantastic time.” Vic
“We booked a charter last year (2017) with John and Michelle for the first time. We have been to Rupert with other charters in years past but never received the helpful dedication that we got from Black Tide Adventures. John was very helpful for us to try and get our limits for each day. He was able to stay late out on the ocean to try and get us our fish not like other charters when they strive to be back by 2pm in the afternoon. He helped us catch our limits for both days and even tried to take us out to the spot with the big fish. Other guides would have said no way not a chance. He cleaned our fish and gave us the idea to take them to Rupert meats for bagging and freezing. This was the first time we as the guests felt very welcome on a charter. We would recommend this business as the best experience we have had in Prince Rupert. We will see you guys soon as we have booked again for two days in July the primetime with John and Michelle.” Sandra, Jere & Dave
“Have gone twice with Black Tide Adventures and look forward to going again this summer! John does whatever it takes to ensure your catching fish and only keeping big ones! Limited out both times (even with bringing bananas on the boat)! Not only good fishing but good humour for an all round time.” Clarke A.
“Johnny is a top notch guide with a great attitude, superior knowledge, sense of humour and a terrific fishing vessel. Do not hesitate to book a charter with Black Tide Adventures. He will do his absolute best to put you on the fish and make sure you have an enjoyable time.” Dave Zurevinski
